Benjamin Franklin

This Portrait will be made into the new town seal in collaboration with Cavallaro Signs.  It will be installed in the Town Meeting Room and will be shown on the town cable access channel during town meetings. 

These images are of the Proposal, the "Underpainting" ,in progress and the finished painting.  The underpainting is monochromatic.  This is a traditional technique I use that dates back to the Renaissance time.  When the likeness and the full range of values are established; colors are then introduced.
