My work deals with the concept of holy relics fused with anatomical images and text as they relate to Christian saints and other biblical characters.

Adam’s Skull has often shown up in many paintings resting below the crucifix.  The skull and crossbones would represent the original sin juxtaposing Jesus dieing for mankind’s sins.  With this theme I am exploring the history of this skull by relating text from Genesis to relate the life behind the remains we look upon.
